Hair advice. Flat literally lifeless hair.

| mens hair styles | Wednesday, 31 March 2010

Question by our readers

Ok so I take pretty good care of my hair and I wash it with shampoo every other or every day it depends. But it is literally lifeless. I put moose in it after im done my shower and I even blowdry it upside down. It will stay nice and poofy and for at least an hour a the most but then it just hangs around my face. My hair is EXTREMELY THIN I mean i know I could try different hair styles so that it wouldn’t look like that but I just need something to put in my hair when I want to wear it down. So is there anything like product or moose or shampoo or home remedy or something that will give my hair MAJOR poof and volume that will last all day. Oh and if you could recommend a hairspray too but one that won’t make it impossible for me to run my fingers through my hair without them getting stuck and sticky that would be great thanks. Oh and if you want to suggest a realy super hot hairstyle that will work with my thin hair and make it look nice than by all mens do THANKS.
Now when I say Major poof I’m talking like snookie poof for my hair but natural. lol.

I don’t get it. Why is school a fashion show.

| hair fashion | Tuesday, 30 March 2010

Question by our readers

I hate walking into a classroom and finding people with their eyes glazed over and tapping their fingers. Why can’t they at least do something constructive with their time. It seems like they complain about coming to school and having to sit in classrooms without realizing the upside. They constantly forget that their parents are paying for them to go to a classroom 6 hours a day so they can receive an education to get the jobs they dream of, which right now are hockey players and designers. Instead they flaunt their clothes and hair around, talking about Justin Bieber and how their latest game went, sometimes even while their teachers are talking. I wish people would be grateful. They even say they love to give to charity and how sympathetic they are for people who don’t have the same opportunities and then continue to be miniature versions of people in shows like degrassi and secret life of an american teenager etc. I absolutely HATE this. Please rant along with me.

How to get creases out of hair.

| hair cuts | Monday, 29 March 2010
Question by our readers

Hello.

My hair is naturally pretty straight, but I put it up in a ponytail a lot- And so, it’s developed this crease, almost, where the rubber band goes. Which I wouldn’t care about except that it stays like that, to some extent, despite being washed/ blow dried / straightened. The cut I have really is best super-straight, and this is really ruining it. It’s such a pain. Any suggestions. Products, techniques, ect ect. I’d like it to still be soft and flexible, so no really stiff hairsprays.

What kind of gel should I use to keep my hair smoother and more flat.

| mens hair styles | Friday, 26 March 2010
Question by our readers

I have hair like this http://www.menshairstyles.net/v/mens-medium-hair-styles/Men+medium+hairstyle+with+layers+on+the+end+and+long+side+bangs.JPG.html
except that my hair is very thick and wavy so it doesn’t stay flat and I don’t like want to straighten my hair but I want to keep it flat. Whats a suggestive brand of gel.

Can anyone answer a question about Hair Cuttery.

| hair cuttery | Thursday, 25 March 2010
Question by our readers

So i get my hair cut at Hair Cuttery, and i really like the way they color my hair but getting my hair highlighted blonde when my natural color is very dark brown is expensive. When i was getting it cut & colored the other day, i noticed that full color is cheaper than foils, and i’d much rather have that anyway. Here are my questions:
1. If my hair is dark brown and i want to try light brown, will they lighten it and then put the dye in and still count it as color.
2. Do they have any funky (not natural hair color) colors. (like green, candy red, orange, pink, etc.) I really think it would be awesome to do something funky. The way i see it, i can always dye it brown if i don’t like it.
3. If anyone works at hair cuttery or for some reason knows their prices well, can you tell me about pricing for this.
thanks everyone.

Burt’s Bees vs. Jason Natural haircare.

| hair care products | Tuesday, 23 March 2010
Question by our readers

Im steering clear of animal byproducts and oodles of chemicals with my personal care. I have extremely dry, heat/chemically damaged hair. I switched over and Ive been using Jason Naturals Natural Sea Kelp Hair Moisturizing shampoo [so rich. its like honey :)]/conditioner (smells a bit medicinal but the shampoo totally covers it up) with the sea kelp leave in [great detangler, no weight with a very mild pleasant smell] and im very satisfied with the results and products [the smell of the shampoo is yummy. ive had guys stop and ask me what perfume i was wearing :) I’ve been told it smells sexy for some reason, guys are so silly :) ]. Im wondering if burt’s bees could possibly be better. say. . .more environmentally friendly, natural without all the silicone’s. Though im a big fan of burt’s Bees acne system [best on the market, and i’ve tried a LOT], lotion and washes, i haven’t used their haircare since i tried color keeper and it sucked for my hair and my wallet [waste of money] :(. i’ve done some reading but i’d rather go by someones experience with Burt’s Bees Berry moisturizing vs. Jason Naturals before i take the plunge.
THANKS ALL FOR YOUR TIME. -Kaila
