i am a 16 year old girl.

When i go to bed at night or whenever i have some free time i go to my bedroom/restroom and lock the door. Sometimes my parents will barge in when i am least expecting it. EVEN WHEN I TELL THEM THAT I’M CHANGING OR NAKED and just hold on, THEY WILL STILL COME IN. Or they will call up to me and ask me what i am doing. This is so annoying. Please i am out of ideas on explaining to my parents that sometimes i just need to be alone.

Last night, I locked the door in the bathroom & MY DAD JUST UNLOCK & BARGE IN. i was in my panties & bra. i was just trying on clothes and putting layers of tank tops just to see if i can look less skinner & other things in my free, and private time since my room doesn’t have a mirror. (looks do kind of mean everything to me.) my mom barges in and asked “why are you changing in the middle of the night, are you crazy. let me take you to a crazy hospital, i never see anyone do this” and she threatened to get the scissors and cut my hair because she doesnt like my hair or why i just wanted to try on clothes. SHE JUST DOESN’T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING. I DO NOT GET ANY PRIVACY IN THIS HOUSE AT ALL. why would someone tell you that they’re wearing a bunch of layered clothes. its not like anyone’s going to pull your shirt up and look or something. She looks through all my letters I write to my friends and said she hates all of them because she hates the conversations we have. (its about boys, fashion, teen stuff) She would tell me to reason to her on why I talk about these things and insults me. i have no cellphone because my parents do not want me talking to my friends, i hang out with my friends at least.once in 3 months.

They would always say “this is my house and you have no privacy.” should parents just barge in on their kids and look at their letters. why are my parents so overprotective & so beyond RUDE.

i seriously, seriously cannot wait until I am 18 so I can get out of this hell I’m in.

my mom say things like “if people knew my daughter does this, i would be so embarrassed.”

i really am beginning to hate her. to me, she acts like a little kid.a little spoiled brat. she is cheating on my dad with his brother and I’M THE ONE THAT’S EMBARASSING HER.
why does it matter to my mother that I wear layers and layers of tank tops. Or that I stuff my bra. Does she have to care. It IS MY BUSINESS.

well i already got my bangs cut like hers.well not really i just asked for blunt and brought in a picture and the girl BUTCHERED THEM.
theyve FINALLYY grown back.but now theyre too long. imagine that.

my hair is just a few inches past my shoulders and the layers are SO GAY. theyre like 1/2 an inch shorter than my hair and i HATE THEM. i want her entire hair cut so.
